3 CONC a ducal coronet a horse's head over a wreath and helmet. Arms: per chevron gules and
3 CONC and ermine two lions heads erased Or. here lies the body of Reynold Alleyne of Mount
3 CONC Alleyne in the Parish of St. James Esq. who departed this Life the thirtieth Day of
3 CONC June Anno Domini 1749 aetatis 49.
1 NOTE Was educated at Westminster School. The School records show: Alleyne, Reynold, fifth
2 CONC of Thomas Alleyne of the parish of St. James in the Island of Barbados; B. Adm. (aged 15)
2 CONC Sept. 1715; in under school list 1716; inherited the plantation of Mount Alleyne in
2 CONC Barbados. mar. a daughter of Lawrence Price; d. in Barbados June 30 1749. (the Records

1 NOTE The Will dated 29 June 1749 of Reynold Alleyne of the Parish of St. James, Barbardos. To
2 CONC my daughter Judith Alleyne 2,000 pounds to make her equal to my daughter Elizabeth Newton,
2 CONC wife of John Newton Esq., to who I gave the like sum upon her marriage with the said
2 CONC John Newton. My daughters Elizabeth Newton and Judith Alleyne to share equally in my real
2 CONC estate etc.
