1 NOTE Baron of Dunster. Was a minor at his father's death and in ward to the king.
2 CONC For his maintenance the sum of £18 was allowed for eighteen months, presumably
2 CONC until he came of afe, for he had livery of his lands in 1177. He was a benefactor of
2 CONC Bruton, and confirmed the gifts of his father and grandfather, and granted the
2 CONC tithe of certain of his mills in Normandy to the abbey of the Holy Trinity of
2 CONC La Luzerne. He apparently went on pilgrimage to Jerusalem.
