1 NOTE Pedigree not known, but another John Pollard of this period and of known pedigree
2 CONC named a daughter Mary Gould Pollard, probably after this John's wife. He and his
2 CONC children are buried in the Pollard Tomb St. Michael's

2 CONC Dr. John was appointed on 15 Jan 1721, as Doctor to the Alms-houses in succession to
2 CONC Dr. Sidney at the Vestry meeting on that date. He still held the post in 1737.

To my son Edward Pollard the house and the land in the country and also one
2 CONC two-handle silver cup. To my son Thomas Pollard my dwelling house in Reid St. and one
2 CONC silver Tankard. To my daughter Emerline (sic) Pearce 5/-. Residue of my estate to my
2 CONC sons Edward and Thomas Pollard equally when my youngest son Thomas attains 21, and in
2 CONC the meantime he is to be properly educated and brought up out of the profits of my
2 CONC estate. 10 pounds is to be distributed to some poor families in St. Michael's Parish.
