and with a shield of arms in the centre. Arms:Argent, three battle axes sable. (Gibbes):
impaling: Per Chevron Gules and Ermine in chief two lions heads erased or. (Alleyne).
Sacred to the memory of Christian Gibbes Consort of John Gibbes Daughter of the
Hanourable Reynold Alleyne (34 lines...) The Baronetcy of Gibbes of Barbados was
created in the person of Philip Gibbes 30 May 1774, great-grandson of Philip Gibbes
