Nb. Will of Peers Alleyne dated 24 July 1747. To sister Judith Alleyne 1,000 pounds
at age of 20 years. To relation Thomas Alleyne of St. James, 2,300 pounds. To friend
John Eyre of Wynchester, Eng. Clerk, 300 pounds. To Friend and relation John Lyte Esq.
100 pounds. To six friends to be appointed and approved by executors 20 pounds apiece for
mourning. Servant Thomas Osbourne 50 pounds. All real estate to brother Thomas Alleyne
at 21. Executors: John Lyte, relation Thomas Alleyne, Uncle Reynold Alleyne until brother
Thomas is 21 years, then he to be sole executor. To executors and friends John Gay Alleyne
and Dr. Reynold Alleyne 20 pounds apiece to buy mourning. Signed Peers Alleyne.
