Nb. Called Robert Beauchamp le Jeune in his father's inquisition post mortem. The Beauchamp Cartulary mentions Juliana as wife of Robert Beauchamp and one pedigree states that she was a daughter of Brett. 28 Henry III and subsequently he was one
of the Justices in Eyre for the westen counties. In 38 Henry III he was assessed for his seventeen knights' fees to an aid for making the King's son a knight; and as Robert de Beauchamp of Somerset he was repeatedly summoned from 28 to 48 Henry
III to perform military service in various expeditions against the Scots and the Welsh.
