SourceNb. In the register of Baptisms the name John is ommitted, but in his father's will he is
twice called John Robert and in an old family pedigree he is shown as "John Robert".
At his father's death he would have been head of the family in Barbados, but the old pedigree,
mentioned above, shows that the descent passed from his father to his father's brother,
Armell Henry Pollard. It seems probable that he died before coming of age.
