Went to Barbados in 1754, then backto England in 1754.
Ordained Deacon and Priest 1754 by Bishop of London.
While there appointed missionary to Stratford, Conn.
Later went to Braintree, Mass. and officiated at Christ Church,
then to New York City. In 1774 Chaplain of H.M.S. Mercury in Boston bay.
On 31 Oct 1780 on returning from a funeral he expired on the steps of his house
on the corner of Pearl and Cherry Sts. in New York City. He remains entombed under
the alter of St. Georges Church. New York City. (Winslow Family, Holton Vol.I. P61).
