Nb. Robert IV de Beauchamp. He obtained 44 Henry III a charter for a market and annual fair at both his manors of Merston and Shepton. The following year he was summoned by the King's writ to attend in London with horse and arms, and again at
Worcester 47 Henry III and lastly at Oxford 48 Henry III. His exact date of death is not certain but it must have been before 50 Henry III when his widow gave half a mark for a writ of Pone in the county of Berks.

Nb. She survived her husband for many years and 54 Henry III sued for the recovery of lands at Parkham in Sadborough, Devon, part of the property which her father had inherited from the Fleming family. In the same year she sued the Prior of
Frithelstoke for land in Bileston, alleging that her husband had demised it to the Priory during her coverture, from which if may be presumed that she claimed it as part of her dowry.

in Scots War (28 Aug 1296). Sale to him of the marriage of Idonia, daughter and heir of William de Insual, 13 May 1299. He married her to his son Hugh, and they are now of age, 16 Jan 1308. Grant of market and fair at Rym, Dorset, free warren
there and at Woburneford, 15 Mar 1298. Knight of the Shire for Devon, 1312, Dorset and Devon, 1313. A lord of Silferton, Devon, Ryme Intrinseca, Clifton, and Trylb., Dorset, 1316.
