Nb. The Will dated 29 June 1749 of Reynold Alleyne of the Parish of St. James, Barbardos. To
my daughter Judith Alleyne 2,000 pounds to make her equal to my daughter Elizabeth Newton,
wife of John Newton Esq., to who I gave the like sum upon her marriage with the said
John Newton. My daughters Elizabeth Newton and Judith Alleyne to share equally in my real
estate etc.
